Anyone who lives in any area is welcome to come to any meeting (unless noted as private). For example, if you live in San Diego but your home burnt in Lake Arrowhead, you are welcome to come to a meeting in San Diego.

Local governments that seek full reimbursement for the cost of suppressing wildfires in state-responsibility areas should be required to prove they are planning for sufficient structural fire protection, a state senator said Thursday.

        Board Supervisors Request Nighttime Aerial Firefighting - June 17, 2008
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego County Board of Supervisors signed off Tuesday on a letter to be sent to Cal Fire and U.S. Forest Service officials, asking them to begin negotiating rules that will allow for nighttime aerial firefighting in their jurisdictions.
