CARe News

We have joined the San Diego Foundation's online community, Better Giving. From their website:

BetterGiving is a resource to help you find, learn and give to San Diego nonprofits.

BetterGiving is the place to learn about nonprofits who serve our communities and make the Greater San Diego region a better place. Each nonprofit portrait contains information about programs, management, governance and financial status.

In the year 2009, for activities relating to the 2008 Southern California Firestorm, and for second year activities in San Diego County, grants have been generously provided by the California Community Foundation, The United Way for the "LA County 2008 Fire Recovery Project" and The San Diego Foundation (whose grant was made possible by the Fire Relief Biotech Recovery Fund of the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund, a supporting organization of The San Diego Foundation). Other projects have been funded by individuals who have kindly provided donations.

Testimonials

Please accept our humble appreciation for all that CARe has done for me and my family. You navigated us through the turmoil of the Tea Fire in Santa Barbara, almost 3 years ago. Thanks to your guidance we were able to recover more insurance funds. We had the Fair Plan, through Allstate. We recovered the additional funds from Allstate. Thank you for all you do.
