Well, technically, it was last Tuesday, but it's not the end of the year yet so we both can still benefit from donating!
CARe, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization so donations can be tax deductible (check with your tax adviser). Remember, when CARe is not actively working a major disaster we run solely on the good will of others.
One project we'd like to complete in 2014 is a website upgrade. It's not something we have the time to do during an active disaster recovery period so now is the perfect time to complete this task!
We also have a few ongoing expenses even when running on 100% volunteer staff, so please consider giving!
There are a couple of different ways to help:

Unless you’ve been through the disaster recovery process, you don’t know what you don’t know. Inexperience leaves you at a disadvantage and vulnerable to bad advice. Well wishing family and friends may inadvertently offer you bad advice. Despicable people who make a living preying on ignorance and desperation will target you in hopes of persuading you to accept bad advice. CARe will help equip you to discern what is in your best interest.
